How to Prepare Logo and Business Details for DTP Work
How to Prepare Logo and Business Details for DTP Work
Good DTP design depends not only on the designer but also on the quality of details shared by the customer. If the customer sends clear information, the design work becomes faster and more accurate. This guide explains what to prepare before ordering visiting card, letterhead, invoice, banner, envelope or any other DTP work.
Prepare Your Business Name Correctly
Write your business name exactly as you want it to appear in the design. Check spelling, capital letters and spacing. If your business has a tagline, write that separately. Avoid sending unclear voice notes for important spelling details because mistakes can happen.
Send a Clear Logo
If you have a logo, send the best quality file available. PNG, JPG, PDF or vector files are useful. Avoid sending screenshots from WhatsApp status or low-quality images if possible. A clear logo improves the final design quality.
Prepare Contact Details
Keep mobile number, alternate number, email, website, address and social media details ready. If you want a QR code, send the correct link or ask us to create it based on your requirement.
GST and Billing Details
For invoice, bill book, delivery challan and official stationery, GST number and billing address should be checked carefully. These details must be accurate before final approval.
Photos and Reference Images
If the design needs a photo, send a clear photo with good lighting. If you like a particular style, you can send reference images. Reference images help us understand your taste, but the final design may be adjusted based on size, content and clarity.
Write Content Clearly
For banners, certificates, invitations or announcements, send the full text in typed format. This reduces spelling mistakes and speeds up the design process.
Quick checklist: Business name, logo, phone number, address, email, GST number, photo, content, design size and reference style. Sharing these details clearly helps us prepare better DTP proof.
